Sorry – I only noticed it after waiting ten hours for the huge 1.1 Gb file to upload. I might create another version later. At least this gets you going for now. And note – I don’t yet have any evidence that this system works. It ’should work’, but I haven’t measured or experienced it yet, I’m just assuming it’ll make my house a lot warmer in cold weather. Warning, I found that using a sheet of glass as the straight edge is risky – you can chip it with the knife, and you might cut yourself too. March 26 update: The ‘Ecowho’ website seems to suggest single glaze glass loses 240watts/sq metrr, but a double-glazed one loses only 25watts/sq metre. Seems tight curtains and a pelmet can roughly equal double-glazing. Either therefore might save about NZ/month of power, assuming the month has average 5 hours a day where temp is 10 degrees colder outside than the warmed inside.
